Wondering about your child's language, learning, behavior, self-help, or motor skills?

The Sumner School District provides free developmental screenings for children between three and five years of age to determine if children are eligible for special services support. The screening helps to gain an overall picture of your child’s development.  This information will help us decide whether an evaluation is needed to determine if your child requires Special Education services.

Screenings are each month from September to May (except December). Anyone living within the school district having a concern about his or her child's development is urged to take advantage of this service.
