Annual Measurable Achievement for English Language Learners
The “No Child Left Behind Act” requires families of English Language Learners (ELL) participating in Transitional Bilingual Instructional Programs (TBIP) and/or Title III programs to be notified each year of Annual Measurable Achievement Objectives for the District. There were three targets identified:

Target #1: Annual increases in number or percentage of children making progress in learning English.
61% of students are deemed as making progress (target = 66%)

Target #2: Annual increases in the number or percentage of children attaining English proficiency.
4.2% of students are deemed as attaining proficiency (target = 12.7%)

Target #3: The number or percentage of ELL students meeting AYP targets in reading and math on state assessments met target.

While one target we met, the District did not meet all targets for identified as Annual Measurable Achievement Objectives.
