The Sumner School District Stadium opened in 1959 and was remodeled in 2001 to serve the needs of a growing district with two high schools. The stadium was upgraded to serve the needs of a multiple high school district, along with the field needs for a variety of community sports programs. In addition to local school and community events, the stadium serves as a playoff site for league, district, and state high school playoffs in football, soccer and track. The stadium features the following amenities:

  • Covered, home side seating for 2,400
  • Covered, visitor side seating for 900
  • New home side concession stand, restrooms and ticket booths
  • New visitor side concession, restroom and ticket booths
  • Two locker rooms located under the home grandstand
  • An eight lane, 400 meter, championship track with newly remodeled field event venues
  • A new, 362' X 216' artificial grass, in-fill turf field, with in-laid lines for a 70 yard-wide X 116 yard-long soccer field, and all necessary lines for football
  • New meeting/classroom, offices and officials dressing room.
