Mentors

As a component of the Senior Project, our students are required to work with a mentor. If you are willing to be mentor, the following is required:

A mentor will:

• Meet with the student a minimum of 3 times
• Evaluate progress and skills using the Mentor Verification Forms
• Give feedback
• Provide expertise in the project area
• Be supportive

A mentor will not…

• Tolerate rude or unprofessional behavior
• Vouch for a project which s/he has never seen
• Do the students work
• Be available at the last minute

We value your willingness to meet these guidelines and to serve as a mentor for one of our students. Your contribution is an invaluable part of the overall project and it is greatly appreciated.
