| Senior/Culminating Portfolio Expectations
For Full Diploma Candidates
Sumner High School students fulfill graduation requirements through a Culminating Portfolio developed throughout their high school experience and is the focus of their weekly advisory class. IB Full Diploma candidates meet their Culminating Portfolio requirements through their IB Full Diploma requirements: the required 4000 word Extended Essay meets the Culminating Portfolio research requirement; the collaborative CAS project meets the Culminating Portfolio Citizenship Project requirement.
Additionally, Full Diploma candidates present their accomplishments to the community at the SHS Curriculum Showcase event where they develop a display which highlights their EE research, collaborative project and post secondary plans.
