More About Us

Our Lakers and their accomplishments on a daily basis make our school special. In an attempt to highlight our students' accomplishments in the classroom, we have implemented monthly "Laker Pride" assemblies. During these events, one grade level performs a learning demonstration for students in other grades.

With the help of our talented music specialist, our students sing our school song. Because it is vital that parents are informed of student progress, we provide building-wide progress reports half-way through the second and third trimesters. Along with with our annual Emerald Hills Musical, Laker Leadership, and the Tennis Club, there are many ways for our Lakers to shine.

The staff at Emerald Hills Elementary believes that in order to successfully accomplish our mission of preparing students to become lifelong learners, we staff, parents, and students must work together to provide a positive and effective learning environment.
