Running Start allows juniors
and seniors to enroll in courses at community or technical colleges
either full time or on a part time basis. Eligibility is based on
a placement test given by the colleges. Both college credit and
high school credit is earned for courses taken at the college. Although
tuition is paid by the District, the student is responsible for
books, fees, and transportation.
