Kindergarten Registration

All children enrolling in kindergarten for the 2009-2010 school year must be five years old by August 31, 2009. When registering a child for school, families should bring: proof of child’s birth date (birth or hospital certificate, passport); Immunization information and child’s health history; and names and phone numbers of parents, physician, emergency contact when the parent/guardian cannot be reached.

Please contact your local neighborhood elementary school to enroll for next year.

Half-time Kindergarten 2009-2010
Red: Mondays, Tuesdays and alternating Wednesdays
Blue: Thursdays, Fridays and alternating Wednesdays

Full-time Kindergarten Programs

Some elementary schools offer a tuition-based, full-time kindergarten program on a space available basis for children who qualify. Full-time kindergarten students attend school every day and have the same school calendar as students in grades 1- 5. Students enrolled in full-time kindergarten receive extra instruction time to learn basic skills for first grade. All children enrolled in the full-time program must qualify through participation in a screening process held later in the spring. Full Pay Monthly Tuition $300
Full pre-pay $2,850.00 (includes 5% discount)

Before & After School Program: grades *K-5 (full-time kindergarten only)

Thank you for choosing the Sumner/Bonney Lake Recreation Department as your choice for before and after school activities for your child(ren). The Before & After School Activities Club serves children who attend Daffodil Valley, Emerald Hills, Bonney Lake, Maple Lawn, McAlder, Victor Falls, and Liberty Ridge Elementary schools.
