Please read carefully the general information outlined below. Your
application materials will provide important information in the
selection process.
How to Apply
Complete and submit the following online coaching application components.
For guaranteed consideration, materials must be submitted to the
Human Resources no later than the closing date noted on the position
announcement.
- Completed coaching application.
- Resume and letter of interest for the specific vacant position(s).
Please refer to position title and posting.
- Applicant Disclosure Form
- School Work History Form
- A photocopy of your current first aid/CPR card. If you do not
have current first aid/CPR certification, you must agree to have
certification prior to the beginning of your coaching season to
meet WIAA rules.
All submitted documents are scanned into your online application.
It is preferable to submit your documents on regular 20 pound paper.

After the closing date of the posting, all applications are screened.
Following the screening, selected applicants will be invited to
interview. When interviews are completed, the administrator in charge
will make a recommendation to Human Resources.
An offer of employment will be on a conditional basis. Coaching
applicants, please note that the recommended candidate must meet
the following conditions of employment prior to undertaking any
coaching duties:
- Complete a background check through the Washington State Patrol
criminal investigation system and the Federal Bureau of Investigation,
at the applicant’s expense.
- Be currently certified in first aid/CPR.
- Complete Washington State Sexual Misconduct Disclosure Release
(Form SPI 1588).
- Complete Character Fitness and Supplement (Form SPI/CERT 4020B).
- Attend an in district orientation on: sexual misconduct, chemical
hazards and bloodborne pathogens.
- Pending receipt of appropriate OSPI Washington State Sexual
Misconduct Disclosure Release form(s) from all former school district
employer(s).
