Applicants are advised that they will be subject to a Washington
State background check. Any offer of employment by the District’s
Board of Directors is on a conditional basis pending the successful
completion of an FBI and Washington State Patrol fingerprint background
check at the employee’s expense, as well as a current written
disclosure of specified criminal convictions and civil or disciplinary
board findings.
All employees are required to —
- Possess certification in First Aid and CPR, or commitment to
obtain within ninety (90) days of hire.
- Attend an in-district chemical hazard and bloodborne pathogens
orientation.
- Furnish proof of identity and employment authorization status.
As required by Immigration and Naturalization Service regulations,
successful candidates must prove United States citizenship or
present documentation that they are legally eligible to be employed
in the United States before they can be offered a contract.
