The Sumner-Bonney Lake Education Foundation is operated by a volunteer
board of directors. Composed of community and business leaders,
the group manages the Foundation’s investments, raises funds
to provide additional financial resources, selects grant recipients

Joining the Foundation
Do you want to make a difference in a kid’s future? Are you able to invest your time for one or two days each month? If so, the Sumner-Bonney Lake Education Foundation is interested in you!
The Board meets monthly in Sumner, with some follow-up questions or information distributed by e-mail. Because of the nature of the matters to be discussed, members will need to sign a confidentiality agreement. We are interested in recruiting new members who have financial experience or legal training. Although membership of the Board is on an unpaid basis, out-of-pocket expenses associated with Board business are reimbursed.
Thank you for considering becoming a part of the Sumner-Bonney Lake Education Foundation. Our nominating committee chairs Ann Cook and Dave Radcliffe can discuss any questions you may have about becoming a Board member or other opportunities to volunteer in your community.
