District Battle of the Books

Battle of the Books is a voluntary reading incentive program for students. The purpose is simply to encourage students to read good books and have fun while competing with peers.

What Is The "Battle?"
A typical "Battle" is a game, like the College Bowl, in which students' teams earn points by answering questions about the books on the book list. School teams compete and then advance to the District competition.

  Prelim Competition: May 5 at 9:45 am
  Building Final: May 6 at 9:45 am
• Daffodil Valley Elementary Battle of the Books
  Prelim Competition: May 5 in the library - 2 sessions from 9:45 - 11:30 am (no observers, only judges)
  Building Final: May 8 in the Gym - 1 session from 10:00 am til-over, 3-5th grade audience invited

  Prelim Competition: May 12 in the library - 2 sessions from 1:00-3:00 pm (no observers, only judges)
